Saturday AND Sunday, February 27-28

SATURDAY: Since the climbing wall is not open after mid-afternoon, Beth and I are proposing another BOWLING DAY, same place as last time, at 5:30, for about 2 hours. Food can be had there, but it will be "different" than what you may be used to!

Before Sunday, read Jeremiah 1:4-10.

Also, be thinking of these questions which we will discuss.

   * Why does God call people generally?

   * How does God call people generally?

   * Does God still call people today? If so, how?

   * Are their people in the Circle of Mercy who have a calling that

     you would like to hear about?

Caleb, we will also be reading The Calling of Moses (Exodus3:1-4:20) together. You may want to read that as well before you respond to the questions.

Sunday, February 14 - EARLY meeting time this week

We have been invited to gather 15 minutes early in the sanctuary to watch the video "Coal Country." 

As you may know, Greg Yost (Anna and Will's dad) has been directly involved in the issue depicted in this video. 

It will help us to understand his recent faith-work-activism in West Virginia and the issue of mountaintop removal by the coal mining industry.

SAVE THE DATE - FEB. 20

On this Saturday afternoon or evening, we shall get together for some activity, that requires a movie screen, a climbing wall, a bowling alley, or something that will focus our practice of community for a couple of hours.


So, save the date, say, starting time between 4:00 - 6:00.
